Seaweed Diet- Liquid Shakes

Seaweed Dieting Tea - Liquid My favorite way of using either of the two seaweed liquid recipes is in my tea or coffee - or just seaweed liquid and hot water first thing in the morning. The appearance is a little speckled but it renders the beverage creamy and nutritious. It fills-you-up and blends well in hot or cold liquids without curdling.

  • 1½ cups water (tea, coffee, broth, etc.)
  • ¼ to ½ cup brown or green liquid seaweed
  • Stir well and drink as often as needed to fend off hunger pains. Use it hot or cold as a meal replacement for fast weight loss. However, remember to allow time to digest between each meal.

    Seaweed Lemon Fasting Recipe

    Seaweed Lemon Cleansing Tea - Liquid Another great quality of the seaweed liquid is that is mixes with lemon and citrus. The lemon cleanses and invigorates the digestive system, making it a beneficial cleansing aid. I experienced none of the detoxifying effects of cleansing.

  • 1½ cups water (or herbal tea)
  • ¼ to ½ cup brown or green liquid seaweed
  • Slice of lemon
  • Optional: Add cayenne pepper or garlic to taste.
    Stir well. Drink fresh lemon juice only on an empty stomach (preferably in the morning). Use it for a quick fast, or as a digestive aid.

     Nutritional Seaweed Jelly

    Seaweed Shakes - Fruit Juice Smoothies The best way to disguise the taste of seaweed is to use it in smoothies. The fruit juice will act as a fasting aid, while the seaweed is a no-calorie food fiber. So depending on what you add to the seaweed in the way of flavoring (fresh fruit, etc.), essentially it will fill-you-up, and be one of your zero-calorie meals for the day.

  • 1½ cups fruit juice
  • ¼ to ½ cup brown or green liquid seaweed
  • Banana (or other fruit)
  • Optional: Add protein powder, flax meal, yogurt, or honey, etc. Blend well in blender, and drink hot or cold, every couple of hours, as a meal replacement for fast weight loss. You could live on this!

    Seaweed Shakes - Milk Shakes

    Seaweed Shakes - Creamy Milk Shakes Adding just a little milk to your smoothies makes then as thick as milk shakes, without the fat or calories. Because of the calcium and potassium salts in seaweed, it reacts with milk and bananas, creating a thicker and creamier shake. If you dislike the fruit or vegetable smoothies then try these milk smoothies, they digest slower.

  • 1½ cups milk (or soy, rice milk)
  • ¼ to ½ cup brown or green liquid seaweed
  • 1 banana (or + - other fruit)

    Optional: Add protein powder, flax meal, yogurt, or honey, etc. Blend well in a blender. Use it as a meal replacement plan.
