Weight Loss Liquid Diet
"Weight-loss has never been easier, now you can reduce your calories and fat, get better nutrition, and feel more satisfied."
Lose Weight Permanently - for Pennies a Day!
The Seaweed Weight-loss Diet is essentially a liquid meal replacement plan. All of the recipes (page 19-21) are liquids, so if you want more than just liquids, add some recipes from the Nutritional Diet plan. (please see your doctor before starting any weight loss plan)
Seaweed made into a Liquid this way (page 17), is a calorie-free nutritious food additive. Use it as a thickener or flavor enhancer - it perfectly replaces fats and empty calories without any loss of taste. Seaweed Liquid is a whole food, and it digests as a whole food fiber. Being 80% water it passes through the digestive tract better than any other food.
If you like the taste of green tea, then you will enjoy the Seaweed Liquid used in the weight loss diet. I recommend you make the seaweed Liquid using brown dried seaweed (see page 17) for all of the seaweed shake recipes. It is inexpensive and mixes beautifully with herbal tea, coffee, milk, juice - or any liquid. You'll be amazed at how just a small amount will fill-you-up - and all calorie free!
No diet will work unless you reduce your calorie intake, so do not flavor the seaweed Jelly with chocolate sauce (page 84) and ice cream , as I did in the beginning. In addition, leave enough time between shakes – it is a food, so do not gulp!

About the Brown or Green Seaweed Liquid
I have only used two types of seaweed for the seaweed diet recipes, the brown dried (page 17) and green dried seaweeds (page 18). Both are inexpensive (about a $1. an ounce from an Asian market). (I tried using the red seaweed many different ways, but found it too strong a taste to mix with other foods).
The dried brown seaweed (see page 9) has very strong gelling abilities, absorbs more water, and is the choice for weight loss. (Two dollars ($2.) for two ounces of dried seaweed, makes eight cups of liquid, enough for 32 shakes).
Make both varieties, the green (page 18) seaweed used in these recipes has a different mineral content, and a decidedly unique ‘green’ taste, the two mixed together, creates even another taste- texture. It is fun to alternate, and you will enjoy them both.

Nutritional Seaweed Diet The Nutritional Diet adds about 20% seaweed Jelly to your diet. Not only will you benefit from the perfect proportion of additional whole-green fiber, but it will turn you into an accomplished gourmet chef - because everything becomes tastier and creamier.
|
Seaweed Paste : Baking & Dips The Paste recipes are for the 'gourmet' in you. Every kind of food can be made into a delicious dip or spread. If your family dislikes the texture of peas or broccoli, just try it as a spread or a dip, and watch their attitudes change. Remember to add the seaweed Paste (recipe page 42) to enhance taste and change texture into a rich consistency that is hard to resist.
|
Frozen Seaweed Paste : Desserts & Sauces Freezing the seaweed Paste (recipe page 90) creates another dimension of decadent texture. The frozen Paste recipes are for any special occasion. You have never experienced creaminess like this except in expensive cream chocolates. Keep some frozen, it makes the perfect base for pesto sauce, or garlic spread.
|
Textured Seaweed: Ground & Grated The texturing techniques (page 106) are yet another innovative approach to seaweed. I have only included a few texturing techniques in the book, but if you are vegetarian or just require better nutrition in your recipes, then this is the area to explore.

Seaweed Cocktails: Alcohol Whether you want to use these cocktail recipes for making scrumptious drinks for parties or just to skip a meal, this seaweed liquid recipe (page17) not only makes every drink taste better, but supplies much needed nutrition.
